After

We are finally in the stages of completion, to roll out The Shepherds Hut at the Mill Pond. When The Mill is not booked, The Shepherds Hut is free to be booked out on its own. (See below for dates and prices.)

We aimagere ordering a smaller stove as the Morso Swift we bought is too big and will be too hot! John Hislop has been working hard with the finer details and made this robust oval table.

We love it aimagend have lots of querky, vintage treats to find in the small space. It will be a cosy haven for a parent / child break or teenagers or a couple that don’t mind not sharing a bed together! This space is probably not for the Watson size of 6ft 5 plus as the measurements are 172cm long (standard beds are 190cm).  The top bunk is 62 cm wide the bottom 85.5wide.

There are spectacular views across the Valley and beyond.  A great oak wood for walks and finding your wood supply.  I think this is glamping in a cosy George Clarke type space. Orwell and Goode have been so kind with theimageir prints and fabrics and specially made bean bag, they all complement the various imagewoods, from Oak, Elm, Douglas fir and Sycamore.  Scattered sheepskins, make the Hut a warm and homely feel.  I think you will like it.
