We host small intimate weddings and larger sizes from 30 up to 250 people. We can accommodate 8-10 guests in The Mill with further accomodation in the farmhouse. Beautiful views overlooking the stunning Yarrow Valley. This is an idyllic venue, for your perfect day.
We offer a bespoke personal service, knowing that each wedding is different from the next, we can provide unusual items for hire, a Horse box photo booth to your theme, tandems and vintage artifacts, signs etc. Flowers and decorations are on offer to suit your budget.

Ryan and I can’t thank you all enough! You made our day/ week so special and unique. You all went above and beyond and helped us create the wedding of our dreams. We wish we could do it all again!!
The Mill @ Lewinshope will always have a special place in our hearts and we are already planning when we could come again. We see this place as our home away from home.

We had the most amazing week celebrating our wedding at Lewinshope. It is the most picturesque, breathtaking setting. We couldn’t have wished for a better location, it was perfect. Lulu and Johnny were amazing and on hand to help with anything and everything throughout the week. Lulu was so good at keeping in touch on the lead up to the wedding and helping us think of all the small details for the wedding, we couldn’t have done it without her help and advice. The location of the marquee on the tennis court was perfect and very helpful - there was the grass area in front for the ceremony and drinks reception outside, at night this area turned into fire pits and an area for people to gather.
We are looking forward to our next visit to the Mill already to reminisce. Thank you so much Lulu and Johnny, you are very special people with such a beautiful home. We are so grateful to have been able to celebrate our wedding at Lewinshope. We feel very lucky to have had Lewinshope as our wedding venue.

'Such a wonderful place to get married!
The setting at Lewinshope is stunning with the rolling hills of the Yarrow Valley. The marquee was set-up on the tennis court - making it extremely level which was very beneficial for dancing after a couple of drinks in the evening! The day went perfectly with even the Scottish rain managing to hold off! Being able to stay at The Mill made it incredibly convenient before and on the wedding day being steps away from the venue. We had the most fantastic week setting up the marquee with all the special touches we wanted. All our friends and family said it was such an idyllic location and we couldn't agree more. Highly recommend to anyone thinking of getting married in the Scottish Borders.'

Our wedding at Lewinshope was the perfect venue for our perfect day. When we first got engaged we knew that we wanted to get married at this beautiful venue and Johnny and Lulu were unbelievable from day one. When we first met to discuss our plans, they both played a crucial role in ensuring our day was everything we wanted. We will forever be grateful for their clear communication, ideas, support, and guidance.
Being able to spend our special day surrounded by our friends and family in the stunning natural surroundings and picturesque backdrop of the Yarrow Valley will stay with both of us forever. The Mill, which we used before and after our wedding was the ideal hub for those close to us to enjoy and celebrate with us. Everything about Lewinshope is perfect. Johnny and Lulu worked so hard to ensure we could enjoy our wedding day to the fullest and we always knew we were in the best hands.

Where do I even start? The Mill house to the ceremony area to the tipi location to the yurt, everything was absolutely beautiful. The attention to detailing was just magnificent.
The Mill House was stunning with all the handcrafted woodwork. Everything in the Mill House was top quality and we felt so lucky to stay there. I don't know how many times I told Ewan on the Monday night, 'Isn't it just beautiful.' The history and family connection with the beautiful spot in the Valley made it truly special to us. We can't wait to return on special anniversaries as Lewinshope is very much etched into our story.
The ceremony area was wonderful with the picturesque backdrop. A few friends have said it was the best ceremony they have ever experienced, and we know the views with the ring feeder covered in greenery contributed to that. The effort that Lulu and Johnny put into making out wedding experience fantastic was outstanding. They made us feel special through every part of the experience.
We felt truly welcomed and the little touches such as serving us tea and coffees on trays with delish cakes made us realise we have picked people to help us make our dream wedding come true. Lulu has a talent to see the beauty in items. The rustic charm with a side of elegance was the theme we were aiming to create and Lulu absolutely hit the nail on the head with her decorative items.
Spending our wedding night in the yurt with candles aligning our path to get there was similar to something out of a fairytale. The treats, champagne and breakfast Lulu and Johnny left added to the experience. My granny expressed our experience brilliantly when she said, 'The wedding was like a dream.' When we sat on the seesaw overlooking the Mill house on the Sunday night, we wondered is this magic as it felt so serene, beautiful and blessed. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making our wedding week truly fantastic.

'The most beautiful wedding venue!
We were recently married here and had a wonderful day. Not only did the sun decide to shine but everything went really smoothly. We held the rehearsal dinner in The Mill as the kitchen and dinning facilities are so well equipped. Family stayed in the 4 rooms which all have an en-suite and are absolutely incredible!!! We had a marquee but people mingled in The Mill before and after the meal as it has such a warm, homely touch to it. The owners are relaxed and very helpful! They helped us get in touch with various vendors near by to make planning the wedding much easier and then on the run up were happy to help with anything we needed. Looking forward to going back for another weekend with friends in the near future!!'
